KIPPERS – Kids in Parents Pockets Eroding Retirement Savings.
This appears to be a big problem in Australia, according to many of our new friends. Adult children continue to live at home long past the time they should leave, and rather than pay board at their parents’, spend their money on restaurants (which are full week nights with 20-30 year olds), run up huge mobile phone costs ($900 one month by our friend’s godson) and don’t seem too concerned about the future.
