Going to Adelaide

We left Mount Gambier early and as a result, drove through the still sleeping streets of Millicent where not even a dog was seen.  It was eerily like a Stephen King movie.  At any moment I expected the undead to come walking through the doors.
At some point we realized our GPS was telling us that we’d be in Adelaide at 12:30 in the afternoon.  Way too early!  So we stopped and had a picnic lunch.  A cheeky seagull eyed us hungrily as we ate and made a squawky request for food, which we ignored.  Then as we left, it noisily voiced its displeasure at the empty table we left behind.
Still, we were going to be too early so we stopped in Hahndorf, a charming little town only 20 km from Adelaide.  Because it can be hard to carve out a free hour or two, we decided to take advantage of the extra time we had and get our hair cut.  That failed miserably since the 4 hairdressers in town were either closed or booked.
So we went for a wine tasting instead.  We’re nothing if not flexible.
